Utopy
Call to adventure
Utopy was created by a group of experienced third sector professionals who could see that old ways of thinking, outdated systems and risk-averse behaviours were limiting the potential of so many charities. It wanted to help bring them up to date by diversifying their income streams and flooding the sector with talented people from all walks of life.
Challenge
In its earliest days, Utopy asked me to help creatively position the brand and shape its verbal identity. The team also needed support to build a content strategy and produce tailored content for a variety of audiences.
Transformation
A strategic review phase led me to “untangling progress” as the brand’s central theme. I went on to create the brand’s positioning copy, and write a detailed set of verbal brand guidelines to help the whole team communicate confidently on behalf of Utopy. Then I led a content strategy workshop to help the team tell the brand’s stories effectively.
