Erudus

Call to adventure

With food allergies on the rise and regulations around the production and labelling of food tightening, Erudus was formed to reimagine the way product data is shared right through the supply chain. To take the business to the next level, the team needed to reach the manufacturing and retail giants of the food industry.

Challenge

Over the course of six months, designer Naomi Atkinson and I undertook a full scale rebrand of Erudus. We needed to work strategically in order to unite a range of audiences from the same industry but with very different needs: manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and caterers.

Transformation

Following a strategic review and series of brand workshops in the company’s home city of Newcastle, we created a new verbal and visual identity for the brand. The vision, mission, values and personality we arrived at informed the brand’s key messaging as well as its look and feel. After creating a set of detailed brand guidelines, we went on to design and write the content for a new website to showcase the brand.

In the end…

We created a brand that unites and empowers the UK food industry, and allows Erudus to reach the largest and most influential brands in the game.

“It was a real pleasure to work with Naomi & Rose. They very quickly they became an extension to our team, sharing their expertise and offering guidance at every turn making what we perceived as an extremely large and daunting task really straight forward and very exciting! We’ve arrived at a brand that we are truly proud of and gives us the confidence, functionality to showcase our services and open up to new sectors.
